Hi everyone, this is Joe Russell, the executive director for the Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice with a message of hope and encouragement for all our members.

We know that under normal circumstances our members are some of the most dedicated professionals, striving to provide the best and highest quality of care to those in need of Home Care and Hospice services. We also know that COVID-19 has created a whole new set of challenges, including how your agency will ensure that both your patients and your staff are protected.

We would like to send both our deepest gratitude for all the great work you are doing around the State of Ohio, as well as our encouragement and support in whatever way we can. We know that you will continue to meet the demands and challenges of these times with the same dedication and quality of service that you always have.

We are proud to have you as members. Please know that as you are doing your best to meet these challenges head-on for your patients and staff, we are working your behalf too—whether it’s gathering resources to help you make sense of rules, regulations, and procedures; or communicating with state and national agencies; or connecting your agency to the supplies to help you continue to do your job. Stay the course! Keep doing what you’re doing. We are all in this together!
