Lisa Von Lehmden, Executive Director

Lisa embarked on her journey in Northeast Ohio in 2004, joining Infinity Home Health Services as an education liaison. At Infinity Home Health Services, Lisa played a pivotal role in expanding the organization’s reach and impact. She successfully managed the marketing and development of her colleagues’ care delivery models of over 60 patients under both Ohio Passport/Waiver and Medicare Skilled, showcasing her leadership abilities. Her passion for home care and hospice services led her to a role as a board member of the Ohio Council for Homecare and Hospice. Lisa’s commitment was further recognized when she was appointed as the Board Chair. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice, Lisa continues to shape the future of home-based healthcare. Additionally, she holds the position of CEO at Luxe Healthcare at Home, based in Westlake, Ohio. In this role, Lisa leverages her extensive experience and expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to individuals in the comfort of their homes.

Sean Welch, Advisor, Strategy & Special Projects

Sean is the former OCHCH Treasurer of the Board and a former board member of OCHN. He brings twenty years of financial and operational leadership experience to his new role as Advisor, Strategy & Special Projects for the Council. Sean is also a CPA (nonpracticing) and has a passion for community-based care and service to others.

Jen Goldsberry, Community Relations Director

Jen’s career has been focused on the non-profit/association world. In her role at OCHCH, Jen works with members to ensure the Council is offering value that supports their work, and helps grow our pillars: community connections, policy, provider support, and education. Prior to joining OCHCH, she spent over 15 years at Ohio Life Sciences (formerly BioOhio), as Director of Member Engagement. Before that time, Jen worked at The Florida State University Foundation in Tallahassee in the donor relations/stewardship programs department. Jen grew up in Ashland, OH before receiving her bachelor’s degree in communication from Bowling Green State University. During her final semester at BG, she participated in the Walt Disney World College Program. Jen loves all outdoor adventures and resides in Columbus with her husband and two kids. Jen has released three albums as a singer, songwriter, and banjo player with her newgrass/bluegrass/folk band, The Goldsberrys.

Katie Eisel, Payer Relations Director, OCHN

Katie Eisel is an expert in her field, serving the needs of Ohio’s home care field as the Payer Relations Director at the Ohio Community at Home Network. She delivers informed support to agencies through her experience in managed care contracting, clinical implementation & care strategy, and a deep understanding of federal and state regulations. Katie’s career in post-acute care includes ten years in Network Relations and Development from ACO’s, SNF’s, and Home Health; over a decade of consistently following and understanding payment models and methodology in Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Payers; and years of understanding payer relevancy and payer influence within each market area and how to grow both Payer and Provider footprints. Katie has served on the OCHCH Board and is a current member of the Health Policy Institute of Ohio’s advisory group.

Katie Gallenstein, Development and Policy Director

Katie is an accomplished leader with 20 years as a Registered Nurse, 16 years in Home Health, 6 years in Hospice leadership, and over 13 years leading multi-site agencies running the gamut of clinical, quality, operations, executive leadership, and M&A across several different states. Katie has accomplished industry certifications of COS-C and CEHCH and was an OCHCH Board Member from 2020-2023. Katie is particularly passionate about leadership and maintaining a culture of continuous learning and progress. She is a fierce proponent for people to be able to remain in their home or setting of their choice for the duration of their life.

Drew Cook, Communications Director

Drew joins us with a background in education, customer service, and most recently 15 years of experience working in association management supporting the life sciences industry. As Communications Director, Drew works with the OCHCH team, our members, and stakeholders to help drive the growth and success of Ohio’s home care and hospice community. Drew is our point person for social media, newsletters, and website content, while also ensuring that we have a strong handle on data analytics, technology, and efficiencies – all aimed at providing a rewarding member experience.

Zach Holzapfel, Vice President, Hicks Partners

Zach is an accomplished government relations professional with over 20 years of experience. He develops legislative strategies for public and private-sector clients and represents client matters before the Governor’s office, cabinet members, regulatory boards, the Ohio General Assembly, members of Congress and local governments. He analyzes and assesses the impact proposed rules & legislation will have on client operations and evaluates the best course of action through appropriate policy strategy. His career spans positions in the Ohio Attorney General’s office and the Ohio Governor’s office before going on to work as a Legislative Liaison for the Ohio Department of Health. Zach has helped develop capital budget items, implemented policy and helped negotiate compromises on legislation and proposed rules throughout his career. He holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Capital University.

Erik Mikkelson, Esq. Senior Director of State Government Relations, Hicks Partners

Erik has extensive experience in the executive and legislative branches of government. He has been intimately involved in numerous policy areas, including oil and gas regulations, state operating and capital budget matters, natural resources regulations, criminal sentencing reform, election law and transportation issues. At Hicks Partners, his responsibilities include developing legislative strategies for public and private-sector clients and representing client matters before the Office of the Governor, cabinet agencies, members of Congress, Ohio General Assembly, and local government entities. Mikkelson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University and his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School.
