OCHCH Education Director, Ryan Crawford, explained how home care and hospice agencies will benefit from this new eLearning portal. “With a product like RCTCLearn, agencies can insure all of their staff have access to quality, up to date, and on-demand continuing education. This will help reduce the education cost to agencies and provide them with an easy to use product that allows them to track their staff’s continuing education from one online portal,” stated Crawford.

Each course features a fully-integrated curriculum created specifically for the home care and hospice industry by the Center for Business and Workforce Education at Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC). Each online course features printed certificates, links to further information and quizzes. RCTCLEARN.NET makes it easy to track the progress individual employees who are using the program.

“Many agencies spend a lot of money for basic training of their front line staff. We saw an opportunity to provide value to our members by offering an online training option that could help save them money while also providing a quality product. That’s what our goal is and that’s what we’ve done,” explained OCHCH Executive Director Joe Russell.

RCTCLEARN is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver of the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
