Let’s Work Together To Make Processes Better!

OUR TAKE – by Beth Foster, RN, BA, CPHQ, CEHCH

Let’s Work Together To Make Processes Better!

On Thursday, August 8th the Home Health Committee met with Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) representatives to discuss issues our members are having with the Medicaid Managed Care Plans. ODM suggested that OCHCH and the department set up a meeting with the plans so OCHCH members can share their concerns. We all can work together to make processes better, and therefore providing care in a timely manner, and keep our Ohioans at home where they want to be!

In order to address issues we need your input!  As soon as possible, PLEASE send examples of issues that you consistently have to Beth Foster, OCHCH’s Regulatory Affairs Director (beth@ochch.org). Use subject title “Medicaid Managed Care Issues.”  Please do not share information that could be construed as a HIPAA violation.

OCHCH values our relationship with ODM, and when we voice concerns we always try to bring solutions to the table, and are part of the stakeholders group to make processes better!
