May is Older Americans Month and Lori Criss, Director of Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services, says that there are many ways to help Seniors keep loneliness at bay. Some of her suggestions include:
- Stay connected to family and friends
- Stay connected to your Faith Congregation
- Visit with friends over a meal or coffee
- Take a walk
- Find a free class in a university or community center
- Volunteer your time
