On Friday, August 24, OCHCH hosted a webinar, EVV Basics, as part of its efforts with the recently formed EVV Provider Readiness Advisory Group.
Led by OCHCH, the EVV Provider Readiness Advisory Group is a coalition of providers and stakeholders, including other associations and state agencies, that was formed to help determine if providers are prepared for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) implementation and to provide information to support their efforts. The 90 minute webinar was hosted by OCHCH Executive Director Joe Russell and Policy & Advocacy Director Andrew Yogmour. Kim King, from Home Care Network, acted as the Provider Expert, while Julie Evers and Kristy Wathen from the Ohio Department of Medicaid acted as ODM Technical Consultants to assist with questions.
Nearly 200 individuals participated in the webinar, which covered EVV best practices to help providers complete their day-to-day tasks while complying with the federal requirement. View the presentation slides.
As the advisory group continues its work, future webinar opportunities and toolkit documents will become available.
