Columbus— 03/26/20 — Today, The Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice announced a partnership with the Children’s Hunger Alliance to provide food around central Ohio to children that are home due to the Corona virus closing down schools.
The Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice has offered its classroom and meeting spaces as a staging and storage center for 15,000+ which will be distributed throughout the week.
Front Lines of COVID-19
The Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice is on the front lines of the Covid-19 crisis. Not only are we helping home care and hospice agencies with supply issues as well as access to higher reimbursement rates and national resources, but we have partnered with the Children’s Hunger Alliance to provide a staging and storage area for thousands of meals that will go to children throughout central Ohio.
Reaching Out to the Greater Ohio Community
While the Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice is committed to serving home care and hospice agencies throughout the state, we are pleased to be partnering with the Children’s Hunger Alliance to provide the staging and storage areas of our classroom space to make sure that children in the community where we find ourselves have enough food to eat while they are at home from school during the Covid-19 crisis. The Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice is dedicated to helping wherever it can during this time of need.
